1. Introduction

2. Definitions

The following terms carry the meanings assigned to them throughout this Agreement:

"Account"

A registered user profile created on japan168, linked to a unique username, enabling the User to deposit funds, place wagers, and access Platform features.

"Balance"

The total monetary value held in a User's Account at any given time, comprising deposited funds and any credited bonus amounts not yet subject to active wagering requirements.

"Bonus Funds"

Promotional credits awarded by Japan168 subject to wagering requirements, time limits, and game restrictions as specified in the relevant promotion terms.

"KYC" (Know Your Customer)

Identity verification procedures requiring the submission of acceptable documentation — such as a Malaysian MyKad or passport — to confirm a User's identity, age, and source of funds prior to withdrawal processing.

"Platform"

The japan168 website, all sub-pages, mobile interfaces, and any related software through which gaming services are made accessible.

"Wager" / "Bet"

Any amount of real-money balance staked on an outcome within the sports betting or casino products available on japan168.

"Wagering Requirement"

A stipulated multiplier applied to bonus funds (or a bonus plus deposit amount) that must be satisfied through qualifying Wagers before any associated winnings may be withdrawn.

"MYR" / "RM"

3. Account Eligibility

To be eligible to open and maintain an Account on japan168, you must:

4. Account Registration & Security

4.1 Single Account Policy

Each User is permitted to maintain only one Account on japan168. Operating multiple Accounts — whether under the same identity, a related identity, or shared payment methods — constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. Japan168 reserves the right to suspend, merge, or permanently close duplicate Accounts and to void any associated winnings.

4.2 Accuracy of Information

All information supplied during registration must be truthful and current. Providing false information, including a fictitious name, an incorrect date of birth, or misrepresented contact details, will result in immediate Account suspension and forfeiture of any balance held therein, pending investigation.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials. Japan168 strongly recommends using a unique, strong password and enabling any available two-factor authentication feature. You agree to notify Japan168 immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account.

Japan168 will not be liable for any losses arising from unauthorised access to your Account where such access results from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.

4.4 KYC Verification

Japan168 may require KYC documentation at any stage of the Account lifecycle, including but not limited to: at registration, prior to first withdrawal, when cumulative deposits exceed specified thresholds, or when irregular activity is detected. Acceptable KYC documents include a valid Malaysian MyKad, passport, driving licence, or equivalent government-issued identity document alongside a recent proof of address issued within the preceding three months.

5. Deposits & Payments

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Japan168 accepts deposits through a range of Malaysian-friendly payment channels, including Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, and direct bank transfers from Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, and Hong Leong Bank, as well as cryptocurrency options such as USDT TRC20. Availability of individual payment methods may vary based on your account status, transaction history, and prevailing technical conditions.

5.2 Minimum Deposit

The minimum single deposit amount on Japan168 is RM 50, unless a specific payment method specifies a different threshold. Maximum deposit limits vary by payment method and account tier. Please refer to the Cashier section of your account for current limits applicable to your chosen payment channel.

5.3 Currency

All Account balances, wagers, and transactions on Japan168 are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM) by default. Cryptocurrency deposits are converted to MYR at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of confirmed receipt. Japan168 does not guarantee any specific exchange rate and is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations that affect the MYR value of a cryptocurrency deposit.

5.4 Deposit Processing

E-wallet and DuitNow deposits are typically credited instantly upon confirmation from the payment provider. FPX and direct bank transfers are generally credited within 5–10 minutes during standard banking hours. Cryptocurrency deposits require network confirmation and are typically credited within 15–30 minutes. Japan168 is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors, bank processing windows, or blockchain network congestion.

6. Withdrawals

6.1 Eligibility to Withdraw

Withdrawal requests may only be submitted in respect of real-money balance that does not form part of active Bonus Funds subject to outstanding Wagering Requirements. A completed KYC verification is mandatory before Japan168 will process any withdrawal request.

6.2 Withdrawal Methods & Timing

Withdrawals are processed to the same payment method used for the corresponding deposit, where technically possible. Where a direct return is not available, Japan168 will contact the User to agree on an appropriate alternative. Verified accounts with an established transaction history may access same-business-day processing; standard processing times range from 1–3 business days depending on the chosen payment method.

6.3 Minimum & Maximum Withdrawal Amounts

The minimum single withdrawal amount is RM 50. Maximum withdrawal amounts per transaction and per calendar month may be subject to account tier and verification status. Users with VIP tier status may be entitled to elevated withdrawal limits as described in the applicable VIP Programme terms.

6.4 Withdrawal Checks

Japan168 reserves the right to conduct additional checks on any withdrawal request as part of its anti-money laundering obligations, fraud prevention programme, or responsible gambling procedures. Processing of a withdrawal may be delayed while such checks are ongoing. Japan168 will communicate with the affected User where a delay exceeds 72 hours.

7. Betting Rules

7.1 Placement of Wagers

All wagers placed on japan168 are final once confirmed by the platform. It is the User's responsibility to verify the details of any bet slip — including event selection, market type, odds, and stake — before confirming. Japan168 will not reverse a confirmed wager on the basis of User error.

7.2 Odds & Market Integrity

Japan168 reserves the right to correct manifest errors in published odds at any time prior to, or after, event settlement where the error is demonstrably clear (for example, odds published at a decimal value 10 times greater than the intended value). Bets settled on manifestly erroneous odds may be voided and stakes returned. Disputes regarding odds corrections must be raised within 7 calendar days of settlement.

7.3 Event Cancellation & Voids

Where a sporting event is cancelled, postponed for more than 24 hours, or otherwise fails to reach a valid conclusion, affected single-event wagers will typically be voided and the original stake returned to the User's Account. Accumulator bets containing a voided selection will be recalculated without that selection. Specific sport-by-sport voiding rules are published in the Sports Betting Rules section of the Platform.

7.4 Live Betting

Live (in-play) betting markets on events such as Liga Super Malaysia fixtures and EPL matches are subject to momentary suspension and re-pricing as match conditions change. Japan168 does not guarantee the continuous availability of live betting markets throughout any given event. Wagers accepted during a live betting suspension may be voided at Japan168's discretion.

7.5 Maximum Winnings

Japan168 applies maximum payout limits per event, per market type, and per calendar day. These limits are displayed within the relevant market before a wager is placed. Winnings exceeding applicable limits will be capped at the stated maximum regardless of the calculated payout.

8. Bonuses & Promotions

8.1 General Bonus Conditions

All bonuses, free bets, cashback offers, and promotional credits issued by Japan168 are subject to the specific terms attached to each promotion, in addition to the general conditions set out in this clause. Where a conflict exists between specific promotion terms and these general Terms & Conditions, the specific promotion terms will prevail.

8.2 Wagering Requirements

Bonus Funds credited to a User's Account are subject to Wagering Requirements before any associated winnings may be converted to withdrawable real-money balance. The applicable Wagering Requirement multiplier, qualifying game contributions, minimum odds, time limits, and maximum bet-per-round restrictions are stated in the specific promotion terms. Failure to meet Wagering Requirements within the stated period will result in the forfeiture of the remaining Bonus Funds and any winnings derived therefrom.

8.3 Bonus Abuse

Japan168 operates a zero-tolerance policy toward bonus abuse. Tactics that constitute abuse include, without limitation: creating multiple accounts to claim the same promotion, placing offsetting bets across accounts to manufacture low-risk progression through Wagering Requirements, and exploiting technical errors in promotional mechanics. Japan168 reserves the right to confiscate bonuses and winnings, and to close Accounts, where abuse is identified.

8.4 VIP Programme

Japan168 operates a multi-tier VIP programme ranging from Bronze to Royal Black Diamond. Tier eligibility, cashback rates, withdrawal privileges, and account manager access are governed by the VIP Programme Terms published on the Platform. Japan168 reserves the right to adjust tier thresholds, perk structures, or to discontinue the VIP Programme upon reasonable notice.

9. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Japan168 and may result in immediate Account suspension, permanent closure, confiscation of balance, and referral to relevant authorities:

• Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information at any point during registration, KYC, or ongoing account management;
• Using the Platform while under the age of 21;
• Accessing or attempting to access another User's Account without authorisation;
• Using automated software, bots, scripts, data scrapers, or other non-human means to interact with the Platform;
• Engaging in any form of match-fixing, spot-fixing, insider betting, or collusion with other Users;
• Using the Platform for any money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other illicit financial activity;
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with any software, random number generator, or security system used by Japan168; and
• Conducting any action that disrupts, damages, or places an unreasonable load on the Platform's infrastructure.

10. Responsible Gambling

Japan168 regards the promotion of safer gambling practices as a core operational responsibility. The Platform provides access to deposit limits, loss limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion tools through the account management section. Users are encouraged to make use of these controls proactively.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Japan168 Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software — is the property of Japan168 or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The compilation of all content on the Platform is the exclusive property of Japan168.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not permit you to: reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Platform without Japan168's prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Japan168, its directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or interruption of service, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

Japan168's total aggregate liability to any User in connection with any single claim or series of related claims arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount deposited by that User in the 12-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Japan168 makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the uninterrupted availability of the Platform, the accuracy of odds data, or the fitness of any game for a particular purpose.

13. Termination & Account Closure

13.1 Closure by the User

You may request permanent closure of your Account at any time by contacting Japan168 support at [email protected]. Before closure is processed, any outstanding Wagering Requirements must be addressed and any remaining real-money balance will be returned via a supported withdrawal method, subject to completed KYC verification.

13.2 Closure by Japan168

Japan168 reserves the right to suspend or permanently close any Account, and to void any pending wagers, with or without prior notice, in circumstances including but not limited to: breach of this Agreement, detection of fraudulent or prohibited conduct, failure to complete KYC within a reasonable period, or regulatory requirements mandating Account restriction.

13.3 Effect of Closure

Upon Account closure, your licence to use the Platform terminates immediately. Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination — including clauses relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, prohibited conduct, and governing law — shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Japan168 holds its operating licence. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the use of the Platform that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered under the rules of an internationally recognised arbitration body as designated by Japan168.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking interim injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending the conclusion of arbitration proceedings.

15. Amendments to These Terms

Japan168 reserves the right to amend, update, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time. Where changes are material, Japan168 will provide reasonable advance notice via a prominent notice on the Platform homepage or by email to the address registered on the User's Account. Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms & Conditions periodically. The date of the most recent revision is displayed at the top of this page. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the Platform and request Account closure.
